World-cuisine enthusiasts will soon be able to discover a new address at the Marché Saint-Martin, in Paris's 10th arrondissement of Paris. In early September 2026, Épices Shira will open there Épicerie Shira, its very first brick-and-mortar grocery, marking a new milestone in the development of this House founded by Roï Hendel.
After building his reputation on spice blends, his recipes, and his educational take on Mediterranean cuisine, the founder is now bringing his world to a public venue where you can explore his full range, plus several new items offered exclusively on site.
The story of Spices Shira began from a passion for flavors, travel, and culinary traditions. Through its creations, Roï Hendel highlights carefully selected spices, often sourced directly from producers, in order to offer blends inspired by the cuisines of the Mediterranean basin, the Middle East and beyond.
Over the years, Shira has built a reputation for aiming to make spices more accessible, sharing both recipes and practical tips for easy, everyday cooking. In fact, this new shop won’t be limited to spice jars!
The venue will also showcase a range of Mediterranean takeaway dishes, prepared by Roï Hendel himself. Visitors will also be able to browse a curated selection of fine foods, sourced by the founder during his travels and through encounters with artisans and producers from various countries.
To complement the offering, a range of craft beers will also be on offer, including several beers flavored with spices, in the spirit of the House. Conceived as a genuine haven of discovery and indulgence, this new address aims to spark a dialogue between the spices and the products that showcase them!
