Pop-up store cocktails and pastries by Matthias Giroud and Bryan Esposito at Printemps Haussmann

The combined skills of Matthias Giroud, co-founder of L'Alchimiste Group, and Bryan Esposito, head pastry chef at Printemps Haussmann, give rise to the l'Alchimiste x Printemps pop-up store. This multi-sensory space, located at Printemps Haussmann, offers a unique taste experience, from November 9, 2023 to January 31, 2024.

Marrying the talents of a renowned mixologist with those of a creative pastry chef is what Printemps Haussman has in store for us in its ephemeral pop-up store on the first floor of Printemps Femme.

The immersion begins with an initiatory tour of five exclusive desserts created by chef Bryan Esposito. For each dessert, Matthias Giroud responds with a cocktail recipe, with or without alcohol, forming perfect duos. But the adventure doesn't stop there! For the festive season, the concept-store has imagined two spaces: one dedicated to on-the-spot consumption, the other to take-away, a perfect idea for festive gifts.

The program, designed in collaboration with Printemps Haussmann, evolves throughout the day:

  • In the morning, a sophisticated barista offering.
  • Lunchtime, a combination of barista and cocktails, with or without alcohol.
  • In the evening, a menu of cocktails and mocktails.

Matthias Giroud confides:"This L'Alchimiste concept store is an opportunity to show that mixology isn't just about spirits. It's an experience where you can mix mixology and gastronomy for a surprising discovery."

  • Jardin d'Hiver: Tartelette Calisson / Sudashi / Noisette with alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktail options.
  • Esprit Mont-Blanc: Pear / Chestnut / Candied ginger Mont-Blanc with cocktail options.
  • Milk Punch: Caramel / Vanilla / Pecan Mille-feuille and drinks.
  • Bulle de Saison: Coffee cream eclair / Almond milk / Crunchy praline with cocktails.
  • Japan Cloud: Baba Japanese cherry blossom / Dried plum with cocktail suggestions.

The ephemeral boutique also features the L'Alchimiste cocktail collection, as well as bar accessories and the No-Low book, available for sale. An excellent gift idea for the festive season!

Visit us at Printemps Haussmann, on the first floor of 58-60 Boulevard Haussmann, in Paris's 9th arrondissement. From November 9, 2023 to January 31, 2024, from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm. Prices start at €9 for a pastry, €13 for a non-alcoholic cocktail and €16 for an alcoholic cocktail.
