An Italian-inspired Thanksgiving 2026 menu at Delano Café, Maison Delano Paris

Thanksgiving makes its way to Delano Café in Paris on November 26, 2026. For the occasion, chef Paolo Minelli unveils a four-course menu that highlights the holiday’s classic ingredients—from poultry and pecans to cranberries and sweet potatoes—along with a few detours through Italy and the Mediterranean.

Want to celebrate Thanksgiving in Paris? The Delano Café, the restaurant at Maison Delano Paris, is offering a special menu on Thursday, November 26, 2026. A nod to the American origins of Delano, whose first location opened its doors in Miami Beach in 1995!

At the helm, chef Paolo Minelli preserves several hallmarks of the traditional American meal, while giving them his own twist. Pumpkin, sweet potatoes, cranberries, pecans and poultry meet Italian produce and a few inspirations from the south of France.

The dinner opens with a stuffed patty-pan filled with crab meat and citrus, accompanied by a pumpkin mousseline flavored with Mostarda di Cremona, an Italian candied-fruit condiment. For the main course, two options are on offer. On the fish side, a White trout Label Rouge arrives with a sweet-potato mille-feuille and a woodland-emulsion. To stay closer to the Thanksgiving repertoire, one can opt for the farmhouse poultry, accompanied by a bold cranberry jus, a hazelnut-and-chestnut cream, and grape pickles.

Before dessert, a pumpkin granita with crispy seeds steps in as a transition. And it's hard to imagine this menu without a pecan pie. The pastry sous-chef, Enzo Ohayon, thus revisits the American pecan pie and pairs it with a corn-inspired variation, served as a flambéed corn cob and a scoop of ice cream.

The menu can be savored in the Delano Café dining room, but also in the hotel’s courtyard, which has been transformed for the season into a winter garden. 4 transparent bubbles that can seat 4 to 8 guests will be installed there among the pines!
