What could be more comforting than a grilled cheese dripping with cheese? Not much! Chef Benoit Castel gives us the recipe!

Don't throw away your leftover cheese: melted together, sandwiched between two slices of golden bread, this is the perfect grilled cheese recipe from baker Benoît Castel's book 'Simply Natural Brunch'.

Benoit Castel's grilled cheese recipe

For 2 sandwiches
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Cooking time : 10 minutes

Ingredients:
4 slices of sandwich bread
8 slices of cheddar cheese (or the cheese of your choice)
60 g grated Gruyère cheese
20 g melted butter

Preparation:

On half of the sandwich bread, place the cheddar and Gruyere or any other cheese left over!

Close the sandwich and brush both sides with the butter.

In a skillet over medium heat, grill the grilled cheese for 5 minutes on each side.

Enjoy hot!

Chef's tip: You can add fresh spinach leaves.
