A must-visit address in the 17th arrondissement for lovers of fish and other seafood products, the Rech restaurant taken over by Alain Ducasse is changing location! From now on, as of May 26, 2021, Rech aficionados will have to head to the Maison de l'Amérique latine to feast on their favorite dishes.
From May 26, you'll be able to visit the gardens of the Maison de l'Amérique latine to discover this new, highly gastronomic venue. Architect Marie Deroudilhe has taken charge of the decor, giving the whole place a seafaring feel by playing with brass, blond woods and a suspension inspired by fishermen's nets, all the while making the most of the verdant terrace opening onto this garden in the heart of the capital.
In the kitchen, Alain Ducasse has handed over the reins to David Vignaud, long-time chef at the Louis XV-Alain Ducasse hotel in Paris, who joined Rech in 2015. The chef has chosen to respect the spirit of the restaurant's original menu, featuring fish restaurant staples such as sea bass confit, fromage frais and watercress, large golden sole with butter for two, and mackerel à la flamme, zucchini and horseradish.
But meat is also in the spotlight, with fine dishes such as roast Landes yellow poultry, vegetables and riquette, or beef fillet with oysters and seafood. Accompanied by a glass of wine selected by Gérard Margeon, head sommelier at Maison Ducasse Paris.
And to finish on a sweet note, we opt for Eclair XL with chocolate (from Manufacture Alain Ducasse), coffee or vanilla, Amélie's pastis French toast, or Mister RECH, an iced hazelnut success with hot chocolate sauce.
A new address away from the hustle and bustle of the city, for lunch and dinner!
