Rond is the name of this new hidden restaurant in the 10th arrondissement, located in the Montgolfière, a trendy Parisian Social Sport Club in the courtyard of rue Yves Touldic. From breakfast to lunch to afternoon tea, come and enjoy fresh, made-to-order cuisine.

Looking for a cool restaurant with a smart, trendy atmosphere? Head to La Montgolfière to discover Rond, the coffee shop restaurant in open bar mode, serving you from morning to night on weekdays and until 6pm on weekends.

On arrival, you're drawn in by the beautiful space. Under a beautiful, luminous glass roof, we settle down for lunch or a quick bite to eat. At the far end, the counter faces us for ordering, and everything is open. You can order at the counter before settling down at one of the tables, or even on a sofa with a coffee table.

At first glance, Rond is the result of a year of reflection and exchange with Phamily First, an absolute reference on the Parisian food scene, led by Julien Pham and Marie Coquebert (responsible for a series of innovative culinary addresses and events, including the short-lived Tontine table alongside Céline Pham). The menu was created by Marine Gora and Romain Tellier, the team behind the Gramme restaurant.

Rond offers a menu combining well-being and pleasure with Scandinavian accents - quite a program indeed. Young chef Lia Leguay unveils a menu that is 100% homemade, using only the finest local produce and respecting the seasons. We love the fluffy buns from Mamiche and the excellent full-bodied coffee selected by Ten Belles. Note that this spot is open to club members and their guests.

During our visit, we were tempted by the gourmet and well-stocked garonla.

The sweet potato waffles, topped with bresaola, egg and Swiss chard, are easy to gobble up.

Don't miss the soft Bun Mamiche, with its spicy sauce and topped with fried egg, bacon and mimolette.

Another specialty is Smorebrod, with a taste of tapenade. Mimosa eggs, fennel and kohlrabi.

Finish with the dessert of the day or a cookie, and you're ready to get on with the day.

Around 5pm, we switch to aperitif mode. Tapas take over. Pitas, hummus and plump burratas are served alongside terrines and pain de campagne. Beans lemony with zaatar can be pecked with the tip of a fork... All accompanied by a fine list of natural wines.
