It's good, it's beautiful, it's original: José Da Rosa invites you to his grocery-canteen for an extraordinary gustatory voyage based on fine Mediterranean products.

Not one, but a thousand flavors await you at Da Rosa, a cozy grocery-canteen located in the 1st and 7th arrondissements of Paris. At the head of the establishment is José Da Rosa, who has spent years travelling the world in search of new, unsuspected flavours, ready to delight the palates of Parisians.

And it's fair to say that this man, a true discoverer of wonders and trends, knows how to do it, since we owe him, in part, the arrival on the plates of the capital of exceptional dishes, such as Bellota, lard from Colonnata, Culatello Zibello, charcuterie from Christian Para, cecina and bonito ventrèche. Nothing less. José Da Rosa is still the official supplier of many Parisian chefs when it comes to Iberian and Italian hams, olive oils and white tarama.

At Da Rosa, the dishes on offer awaken the senses with their originality and quality. Naturally, the finest cured meats from Spain, Portugal and Italy - Serrano ham from Trevélez, Parma ham, lomo ibérico bellota, chorizo, cecina, lardo di collonata - are on offer, sliced thinly in a generous rosette of charcuterie (22€), but that's not all.

In this chic and discreet grocery-canteen, whose address is passed on under the mantle, you can also savor other raw products, presented in their simplest form: fleshy Taggiasche olives (3€), small Neapolitan artichokes and pesto (16€), excellent tarama spread on blinis (14€), creamy burrata (15€), or generous pan con tomate (8€) served on beautiful slices of farmhouse bread.

In addition to charcuterie, seafood products are also given pride of place, in the form of tartars, club sandwiches or, once again, in their raw form: Baeri caviar, sardines, tuna ventrèche and Norwegian salmon (23€) are sure to win the hearts of connoisseurs, just as manchego and ewe's milk cheese are sure to win the hearts of lovers of good cheeses.

Da Rosa also offers a few more sophisticated pasta dishes, including an excellent pata negra risotto (€22), as well as a number of salads, some of which turn out to be very naughty.

And before you leave, why not take a look at Da Rosa's grocery section, devilishly well stocked with Iberian cured meats, tins of sardines, cheeses and smoked salmon to take home. It's well worth the trip to Da Rosa.
