In Paris, in the heart of Place Saint-Michel, Signorvino combines Parisian art de vivre with authentic Italian gastronomy. The famous chain of Italian restaurants and wine cellars offers the essentials of Italian cuisine, as well as tastings, theme evenings and meetings to awaken the senses of its guests.

The Italian charm of Signorvino comes to Paris! The trattoria chain, already successful in Italy and Prague, is making its debut in the French capital, taking over a central building on Place Saint-Michel, with three floors and a terrace, to house its"Grande cave à vin italienne".

Nestled in the heart of the Latin Quarter, not far from the majestic Notre-Dame Cathedral, Signorvino aspires to become THE new must-visit Italian restaurant in Paris. And to achieve this, the Verona-born company is banking on a formula that has already proved its worth: an exceptional wine cellar, a veritable sanctuary for transalpine varietals with no fewer than 2,000 references, accompanied by cuisine that draws on the richness of the Italian terroir. A veritable hymn to the flavours of sunny Italy!

Because aperitivo is sacred in Italy, it was unthinkable for us not to start our dinner with an assortment of fried foods to share, mini copies of traditional Italian doughnuts, such as zucchini flowers or Sicilian arancini, ..., which we loved pecking at, seated near one of the large arched windows overlooking the Place Saint Michel. The perfect way to start the day, we went on to order a generous focaccia mortadella and stracciatella, sprinkled with pistachio slivers, as aesthetically pleasing as it is delicious.

After this "light" appetizer, we opted for two best-sellers of transalpine cuisine: spaghetti with tomato accompanied by straciatella for one, and spaghetti cacio e pepe, enhanced by shavings of black truffle, for the other. Even if you think you already know these sauces like the back of your hand (and your taste buds), the address here has exalted their flavors. Meat lovers will certainly prefer the extremely tender braised pork cheek with mashed potatoes. According to our preferences and to best accompany our dishes, the sommelier recommended a Valpolicella, a fairly sweet red wine produced in the Veneto region.

And, because there's always room for dessert, we of course opted for the creamy tiramisu, although our favorite was the cannoli siciliani, topped with ricotta, pistachio and chocolate chips: an ultra-melting crème-nuage in a crisp envelope, that we'd enjoy even if we weren't hungry!

And as if to honor the Parisian art of living, Signorvino also offers a wide selection of Champagnes, without altering its original concept. True to his roots, owner Sandro Veronesi is careful to preserve the restaurant's authenticity by retaining historic Italian suppliers, ensuring a true and sincere culinary experience with every bite.
