Attention shawarma fans! AtAvengers Campus, the area dedicated to Marvel superheroes at Walt Disney Studios, Disneyland Paris invites you to discover Tony Stark 's favorite sandwich at one of the area's three restaurants: the Super Diner. Located behind the Tower of Terror, just off the centralAvengers Campus walkway, the restaurant offers a gourmet break both on the terrace in fine weather, and inside this beautiful, typically American diner.
And that's exactly what makes this place so charming: its 100% authentic decor transports you back in time to a typical American diner. Banquettes, bar and stools, open kitchen and Vichy curtains: you've got it! All that's missing is the waitress in her uniform and apron, bringing the coffee pot. A diner which, according to the Disneyland Paris website, belongs to Peggy Carter's friend Angie.
As for the menu, it's fairly minimalist (and that's fine), offering several types of shawarmas (classic, vegan, kids' version...), but also a Caesar salad (with Pym Kitchen's enormous croutons), and a few desserts and drinks, like the choco-blast, a chocolate bar.
A menu that the editors were able to try out. The shawarma is very good, a little spicy, but very tasty. Wrapped in kraft/alu paper, it can be taken outside to enjoy. As we were only a little hungry, we preferred not to choose a dessert, but we would have been tempted by the choco-blast... A beer to wash it all down.
A good address if you want a change from the all-you-can-eat buffets and pizzas of Pym Kitchen and Stark Factory. Note that you can go there without a reservation. Want to drop in?
