The year 2025is coming to an end andParis is decked out in its finest attire, with majesticChristmas trees, garlands and lights in the streets, shop windows that come alive to the delight of children and adults alike, and a program of festivities for Parisians and visiting tourists.

If you've already made plans to dine out with friends, family or lovers on Christmas and New Year's Eve, there's no reason why you can't treat yourself to a fine meal in the capital before then, in December.

As usual, we reveal new Parisian restaurants (or not so new but just as good!) that you absolutely must try during the month of December. And for this month, we're offering a slightly different format than usual, with a match between two Japanese restaurants.

The first pays homage to a street food classic with a lot of class, while the second takes a more relaxed approach to tradition, reinventing Japanese cuisine with a vegan twist. All you have to do is choose which one you fancy most!
