Café Kitsuné Louvre, the sublime café at the gates of the Jardin du Palais Royal, is evolving and becoming a new spot for pastry lovers. With the recent reopening of its floor, overlooking the beautiful fountain of the French Theater, we take the opportunity to go and enjoy a gourmet moment with lattés and sweets as a bonus.

How about marrying good teas and pastries? The Café Kitsuné Louvre, which opened its doors in 2019, is unveiling a new pastry concept by reopening its floor initially dedicated to restaurants.

Indeed, since January, the floor which has 67 seats overlooking the Place André Malraux is once again accessible and now offers to delight the hearts of gourmets in search of good pastries to taste.

Thus, the Café Kitsuné du Palais Royal has decided to partner each month with a new pastry chef or with promising talent. We will discover classic or exclusive creations on the menu along with the good coffees, teas and other chai of the house.

The first to embark on this collaboration is the chef Kévin Lacote who, we remind you, has an excellent tea room-pastry shop called KL Pâtisserie. For the house, he proposed a nice selection including ultra gourmet Paris-Brest pistachio, Mont Blanc with blueberry confit and meringue suite and the Alfonso and a cheesecake revisited with fresh mango and coconut crumble. Also on the menu are a hazelnut and praline shortbread with Café Kitsuné and an almond and yuzu confit moelleux, both exclusive creations.

Of course, all this is accompanied by a good coffee or a latte with the various vegetable milks that are open to you. For us, it was golden and matcha latte with oat and soy milk, we love it.

For this month of February, come the beautiful creations of Philippe Conticini whose greediness is not to be proved anymore. Then will follow the creations of Johanna Roques, Hélène Deguen or Aurélien Cohen!

In short, there's more to come at Café Kitsuné Louvre! How about a pastry break after a tour of the Colonnes de Buren?
