The French Bastards is coming to the 17th arrondissement and for the occasion, it's going all out with a lot of new things to make us drool!

After having conquered the palates of the inhabitants of the 2nd and 11th arrondissements, the team of The French Bastards has now arrived in the west of Paris. It's in the 17th arrondissement, more precisely on the Place Saint-Ferdinand, that the chef-baker Julien Abourmad and his two acolytes Emmanuel Gunther and David Abehsera have decided to open this brand new address that smells like warm bread.

This third Parisian boutique retains the original DNA of The French Bastards where concrete stands next to brick walls decorated with neon pop and where the lab, visible to all, allows you to salivate while seeing the wonders in preparation from afar. And of course, on the stalls, always generous and impeccably sourced gourmet products.

On the program, the unavoidable viennoiseries, croissants, pains au chocolat, Swiss bread, raisin bread or the indestructible signature cruffin; bread made according to the rules of the art, the generous sandwiches and comforting salads for lunch and pastries. But new products are also available!

Discover, for example, the BCBG, a.k.a the Brioche Cookie Bien Gourmande, cocoa version, with cookie crumble and homemade spread insert, or plain version with cookie crumble and homemade caramel insert; but also a crazy kouign amman for the lovers of Breton flavors! And the coming months will also bring other surprises such as the brioche façon rocher or the kouglof with caramel. But for that, we will have to be a little more patient.

As for pastries, Julien Abourmad has chosen to adapt the Saint-Honoré to the seasons: chocolate St-Ho in autumn, caramel-pecan St-Ho in winter, hazelnut-coffee St-Ho in spring and raspberry-pistachio St Ho in summer. So many variations that we can't wait to try!

Finally, next February will be the month of all the delights at The French Bastards with a winter version of the tarte Tropézienne with charcoal brioche dough, charcoal and vanilla praline, vanilla diplomatic cream, but also an ephemeral creation that you'll have to try before it disappears: the pavlova, declined here in a chocolate-tonka version
