Christmas Yule logs 2019 by Häagen-Dazs

To treat us during the 2019 festive season, Häagen-Dazs unveils a collection of rather original frozen logs! Called Festive Charms, these icy Christmas entremets are shaped like colorful baubles!

Pastry Chef Mathieu Vienne and his team have come up with 4 festive recipes based on Häagen-Dazs ice creams.

• La bûche Chocolat Belge: On a crunchy peanut cookie, Belgian chocolate ice cream combines with the light texture of a vanilla mousse. A peanut-caramel sauce mingles with these layers.

• Brownie Macchiato log: A chocolate-coffee brownie cookie is layered with the new Brownie Macchiato ice cream and a dark chocolate parfait. A caramel-coffee sauce curls between the two layers.

• La bûche Mangue et Framboise: On a spiced coconut cookie, Mango and Raspberry ice cream is combined with a coconut mousse and a raspberry coulis for a touch of acidity.

• The Sorbet Framboise log: On a vanilla macaroon cookie, the sweetness of Vanilla ice cream merges with the freshness of Sorbet Framboise. Both flavors are enhanced by lychee confit.

Festive Charms can be found in Häagen-Dazs boutiques in Paris from November 25, 2019 to January 10, 2020, and can even be enjoyed on the spot in certain boutiques in the capital!
