In the heart of the Saint-Germain-des-Près area in Paris 6th arrondissement stands a 4-star hotel, Hôtel de l’Abbaye, fitted with 44 bedrooms. Built in a former Benedictine nun-convent, it has a garden, as well as a bar, and a restaurant serving a French teatime.

Open since 1973 in Paris, hôtel de l'Abbaye has been taken over in 2019.
In the heart of the Saint-Germain-des-Près area, a stone’s throw from the Place Saint-Sulpice in Paris 6th arrondissement, this 4-star hotel enjoys 44 bedrooms and suites.
Set rue Cassette, it hides behind huge wrought iron doors and is built in a former Benedictine nun-convent.

Even though it has been renovated in the 1990’s by designer Michel Boyer under the leadership of the former (and first) owner, hôtel de l’Abbaye has not changed a lot since then. It is still in its original condition, but an elegant condition.

For about a year now, this Parisian house has been taken over by the Kampf family, already owning the Megève institution, Le Coeur de Megève.

Some of the suites fit a duplex, including a small terrace with views on Paris rooftops. Other, on the ground floor, are fitted with a small and private terrace in the hotel garden.
As for the decoration, the classic-style suite are beautifully decorated with original furtniture.

In addition to its bedrooms, it displays a classic or contemporary vibe, it depends on your preferences. But hôtel de l’Abbaye is also a lush garden, a greenhouse, and a lounge. It also enjoys a restaurant serving traditional French food and a cocktail bar.
On the menu, light food such as foie gras, smoked salmon, omelets and even croque-monsieur.
And every afternoon, when it is time for the famous French teatimes, glasses of champagne and white porcelain are ready to be filled with sweet and savory treats.

These dishes are to be enjoyed in the different areas on the ground floor of Hôtel de l'Abbaye, under the glass roof with views on the garden, or on the comfortable sofas and chairs, facing the fireplace. The lounge is fitted with several intimate corners.

Let us meet at hôtel de l’Abbaye for lovely moments, in peace, in the heart of Paris, safe from prying eyes. A hotel that has already seduced many celebrities, especially from the cinema world because Nicolas Maury shot scenes from his movie "My Best Part".
