For European Heritage Days, on Saturday September 18 and Sunday 19, 2021, the Lithuanian Embassy takes part for the second time in a row in the event and invites you to discover the venue. The ideal occasion to discover one of the most beautiful private mansions in Paris.

For the 38th edition of European Heritage Days, the Lithuanian Embassy opens on Sunday September 19, 2021 for the second year in a row. In the 19th century, this private mansion set at 22 boulevard de Courcelles, was the first Parisian home of composer Ernest Chausson, his wife and their three children.

The hotel is then decorated by painters Maurice Denis and Odilon Redon. In his office, also stand a huge portrait of the Chausson family, painted by his friend Eugène Carrière. As for the building, it became an embassy in 1999. For these exceptional days, come and discover the very beauty of the place, as well as how an embassy works, to know everything about ambassadors and their teams’ work.
