Ready to discover the new era ofDisneyland Paris? The openingof Adventure Bay, the future area of Disney Adventure World's lake, is now set for March 29, 2026, a key milestone in the transformation of the resort's second park. The announcement was made byNatacha Rafalski, President of the destination, during a drone show on November 24, 2025, which the resort is famous for.
This major development is part of the extensive expansion plan launched in 2018, which already includes the openingof Avengers Campus in 2022. Starting next spring, visitors will be able to explore a range of new worlds, including the central lake and its nighttime show, the Frozen area, Adventure Way,the Rapunzel attraction, and The Regal View restaurant.
In addition to the restaurant, this immersive zone invites you to stroll around an immense 70,000 m3, 2-hectare body of water, including a beautifully landscaped shoreline, as well as a central promenade linking the new zone and the park entrance. A lake destined to become a 360-degree entertainment mecca, equipped with the latest technology to offer"impressive water shows with fountains, music, lights and special effects that will delight visitors", as explained in a press release.
A nighttime show described ina prefectural decree authorizing the project, unveiled several years ago, and "planned in association with the new worlds featured in the park's expansion," including "pyrotechnic shows, light shows, and water animations."

Also planned around this lake is a venue betweenthe FrozenandCars Roadtripareas, as explained by our colleagues atOutsidEarsin November 2024, a "second pavilion called Pavillon Ouest [...] smaller than its big brother" that will house a restaurant complemented by "two awnings, located between the lake and the circular path that surrounds it."
Known asthe Panoramic Terrace, it will offer a relaxation area inspired by early 20th-century architecture, where visitors can meet Mickey or Minnie in their new Victorian outfits. After the area opens, other iconic characters will join them on the lake's shores, bringing this place to life with a magical atmosphere both day and night.
Another pavilion is also planned. Mentioned in February 2023, it is a "multifunctional building" housing "a service counter, as well as restrooms and technical support for future shows that will take place on the lake," according to OutsidEars. He goes on to say that the building, Café Luminosity, will also house "dressing rooms and rest areas for characters, as well as various technical rooms related to operations support (shows, cash handling, storage and beverage dispensing rooms for the snack bar, etc.) and a ticket machine." On either side of the counter, there will also be two covered terraces, allowing visitors to eat in the shelter.
But Adventure Bay is not just about pavilions... There will also be an English garden, the Gazebo Garden, "paying tribute to many beloved characters including Peter Pan," as well as Winnie the Pooh and the 101 Dalmatians, a Rapunzel garden, and a Toy Story garden, with "larger-than-life characters and a recreational landscape." These gardens are inspired by Leicester Square and Lexington Garden.
As for characters, two statues are planned, one of Jessie and one of Woody, located at the brand-new entrance to Toy Story Playland, overlooking the lake.
As for the English garden, a bandstand is also planned, with entertainment throughout the day. Musical entertainment is planned, including "Rapunzel and Flynn's Musical Encounter in the spring, Musical Entertainment with Mary Poppins and the Pearly Band in the summer, and Miguel's Latin Party in the fall." And starting in November 2026, the garden will host encounters with other Disney characters.
Do you also remember the Disney Fanfare, led by Minnie during the Disney Music Festival? The parade will return in a different form and will cross Adventure Way, accompanied by 12 musicians, offering "pop and modern coversof Disney, Pixar, and Marvel films."
As for the restaurant, The Regal View will offer visitors an elegant setting for their meals, from breakfast to dinner. The venue will feature refined décor combining embroidered curtains, floral tapestries, delicate woodwork, and frescoes depicting heroines such as Snow White, Tiana, and Moana. Guests will also have the opportunity to meet several Disney Princesses —including Belle, Merida, Jasmine, Aurora, Mulan, and Ariel, some wearing brand-new costumes—for a truly special experience.
Every element of the decor, from the plates designed by Royal Delft to the marquee crafted by the Schaffner workshops, will reflect a particular attention to craftsmanship. Some tables will also offer an exceptional view of Adventure Bay, ideal for admiring the nighttime show while enjoying cuisine specially designed to harmonize with the food and atmosphere of the place. A bar is also planned.

At nightfall, Adventure Bay will become the stage for Disney Cascade of Lights, a brand-new nighttime show designed as a sensory and emotional journey. Designed in 360° to offer a perfect view from all banks, it will combine technological innovations and Disney storytelling through the unprecedented use of aquatic drones combined with latest-generation aerial drones, creating simultaneous light displays on the water and in the sky.
Inspired by the worlds of Moana, Mulan, Hercules, Zootopia, Pixar, and Marvel, the show will feature water screens, choreographed fountains, monumental projections, special effects, and pyrotechnics, enhanced by a ballet of 379 drones designed with Dronisos. The whole show will be accompanied by an original soundtrack recorded by a 90-piece orchestra, including reworked arrangements of Disney music and a new anthem entitled We Can Be Heroes, making this show one of the most ambitious nighttime productions ever created at Disneyland Paris.
