National Day 2026 in Marly-le-Roi (78): fireworks canceled, community dance & DJ night kept

The towns of Marly-le-Roi, Louveciennes and Port-Marly are celebrating Bastille Day on July 13, 2026, in the splendid Royal Park of Marly-le-Roi. A ball and a DJ night await you, despite the fireworks being cancelled, in this lush, historic setting in the heart of the Yvelines.

Due to the Yvelines department being placed under orange heatwave alert since Tuesday, July 7 at 12:00, then under red alert from Saturday, July 11 at 12:00, the Yvelines prefecture has issued, by the July 10, 2026 order, a ban on outdoor fireworks in the department. The intercommunal fireworks display planned for this Monday, July 13, for Bastille Day, is cancelled. However, rest assured the musical evening and the DJ night are maintained. Meet at Marly Park from 8:30 p.m.

On July 14, France marks its national holiday, commemorating in particular the storming of the Bastille in 1789. Across the country, the festivities revolve around iconic traditions: the défilé militaire on the Champs-Élysées in Paris, the bals populaires held in towns and villages, open-air concerts, and the traditional feux d'artifice that light up the night sky.

At 11 p.m.: intermunicipal fireworks display followed by a DJ party
