July 14, 2026 in Provins: fireworks postponed to December, firefighters' ball confirmed

National Day 2026 program changes in Provins. While the traditional firefighters' ball is still on for Monday, July 13, in the medieval town of Provins in Seine-et-Marne, the fireworks display has been postponed to December 12 due to the extreme heat and the restrictions imposed by a prefectural order.

ATTENTION : due to the red heatwave alert, the city of Provins has decided to take precautions by cancelling the fireworks display scheduled for this July 13, 2206, now postponed to December 12. The firefighters' ball, however, goes ahead.

EDIT 13/07/26 : Due to the wildfire currently burning in the Fontainebleau forest, Provins' firefighters' ball could be cancelled. Please check with your town hall for the latest information.
