Among the most beautiful and exceptionalEaster egg creations of 2025 is that of Michael Bartocetti, head pastry chef at the Four Seasons Hotel Georges V.
The Four Seasons Hotel George V in Paris is offering a unique gourmet Easter experience this year, with chocolate creations by pastry chef Michael Bartocetti. In addition to the sublime tea-time from April 12 to 21, the Easter egg has been revisited in the form of a rosebud.
More than a dessert, this is a visual and gustatory tribute to the floral world of the George V Paris. Each year, as Easter approaches, Pastry Chef Michaël Bartocetti redoubles his creativity to offer an exceptional piece. This year, he has created a floral Easter Egg, inspired by the compositions of Jeff Leatham, the palace's artistic director. A creation that blends perfectly with the majestic decor of this Parisian landmark of refinement, just a stone's throw from the Champs-Élysées.
TheSignature Egg takes the shape of a flower bud in full bloom. This detail is not insignificant: it echoes the attention paid by the establishment to its floral decor, omnipresent in the lounges and galleries of the palace. Sculpted in 75% pure Belize Tulakulum dark chocolate, this generous egg weighs almost two kilos and contains a melting praline with Cazette de Bourgogne flower, combined with a salted butter caramel with round, comforting flavors. The crunchy heart, topped with whole caramelized cazettes and vanilla fleur de sel crystals, offers a gourmet mouthful where crunchiness mingles with sweetness, like a well-kept secret that we discover little by little.
The pleasure doesn't stop there: to accompany this creation, the George V is offering an Easter Tea-Time at L'Orangerie, served from April 12 to 21, 2025. This suspended moment begins with a trilogy of savory eggs, created by Alan Taudon, the palace's double Michelin-starred chef, before venturing onto the sweet side with a chocolate ginger gyoza, a rhubarb tartelette, and a floral version of Eton Mess blending strawberries and basil. This tea-time, priced at 125 euros per person, includes a glass of champagne and hot drinks, in a glass and light setting.
For chocolate lovers, the Egg is available for pre-order at 125 euros, to be collected between April 11 and 21, 2025. Simply contact the palace boutique at boutique.par@fourseasons.com.
In short, an exceptional Easter egg that's as beautiful as it is delicious! Can you resist? Of course, the high price tag reserves this creation for those in search of excellence. In any case, this chocolate will create a sensation and is sure to please young and old alike.
