It's time for another edition of the European Heritage Days. This cultural event takes place every year, usually on the third weekend of September, and offers a rich program of visits and discoveries in museums, monuments, fine institutions and even places closed to the public, including ministries and embassies. On the menu are exceptional visits, often accompanied byevents, concerts and workshops to delight young and old alike.
Paris and the whole of the Île-de-France region are obviously part of the program, and it's even an opportunity to discover the treasures of the region's heritage. In fact, in the Yvelines region, the town of Carrières-sous-Poissy is preparing to host the 42nd edition of the event on the weekend of September 20 and 21, 2025. Located on the banks of the Seine, the town invites us to discover its historic monuments through a program specially designed for the occasion. Here's a sneak peek at what's in store for you this year, so you can take advantage of the tours and events specially designed for the Journées du Patrimoine 2025!
