Have you ever discovered Mantes-la-Jolie by night during the Lueurs de Mantes tour ? For this third edition, which runs from Thursday, January 15 to Sunday, February 1, 2026, in the Yvelines, the highlight remains the drone show. But this year, there are several changes to the program, according to Actu.fr.
Firstly, the calendar has been condensed to two weeks and three weekends, compared to a month and a half in previous editions. Secondly, the Drone Light Show will now open the festivities on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at nightfall, rather than closing them as in 2024 and 2025.
Thousands of spectators will no doubt gather once again around the Mantes bridge to watch this luminous aerial ballet above the Seine. While the exact number of drones to be used this time is not yet known (200 in 2024, then 300 in 2025), one thing is certain: the Gironde-based company Dronisos is taking the lead on this creation. This company is considered the global benchmark for drone shows for amusement parks, and deservedly so.
Since 2018, Dronisos has established itself as the official partner and technology provider for Disneyland Paris. In particular, the company created the famous Disney D-Light in 2022 for the park's 30th anniversary, a show that lights up the sky almost every day in Marne-la-Vallée in Seine-et-Marne. The show won the award for best live show at the Park World Excellence Awards.
Dronisos then followed up with Avengers: Power the Night, launched in 2023, and Disney Electrical Sky Parade, introduced in January 2024. On July 14, 2024, the company even set a world record at Disney: the largest aerial image of a fictional character formed by drones, with a Mickey Mouse head composed of 1,571 machines. With offices in Orlando, USA, and Dubai, UAE, Dronisos has globally recognized expertise.
For the Mantes show, the company could well mobilize a minimum of 400 drones, 100 more than in 2025 with the Allumée company, which piloted the first two editions. According to official documents signed by the town hall on October 13, 2025, Dronisos will be paid €27,950 excluding tax for its performance in the skies above Yvelines. The show is technically limited to around twelve minutes, but promises to leave a lasting impression with a story told through music that will remain a secret until the big day.
Another new feature for 2026: the music is changing hands. After Normandy-born Maxime Olsson at the helm in 2024 and 2025, composer Camille Rocailleux has been entrusted with creating the soundtrack that will accompany the light ballet. Born in 1977, this artist has an impressive CV. After a prestigious education at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique in Lyon, he first joined major orchestras before establishing himself as a multidisciplinary artist.
His collaborations are numerous and varied. These include singers Daphné, Camille, and Judith Chemla, as well as Hugh Coltman and Benjamin Biolay, among others. He also composed the soundtracks for Stéphane Brizé's film Un autre monde (Another World ) starring Vincent Lindon and Sandrine Kiberlain in 2021, as well as Gaël Morel's TV movie Constance aux Enfers (Constance in Hell) starring Miou-Miou in 2022. For this performance in Mantes-la-Jolie, Camille Rocailleux will receive €6,500 before tax, plus €2,200 for an additional performance, as decided by the mayor.
The show will take place above the water on the banks of the Seine in Mantes-la-Jolie, visible from the Quai des Cordeliers and Rue Nationale near the bridge, after nightfall. Admission is completely free, as is the entire Lueurs de Mantes route. This third edition promises to continue highlighting the cultural and natural heritage of this town in the Yvelines department, located less than an hour from Paris.
With this new cast combining the technical expertise of Disney partner Dronisos and the musical talent of Camille Rocailleux, the Drone Light Show on January 17, 2026 promises to be a highlight of this condensed but ambitious edition. Come and discover this luminous ballet with family or friends to kick off this new edition of Lueurs de Mantes in style, with its light shows and digital artworks.
