The Journées du Patrimoine are back for their 42nd edition this weekend of September 20 and 21, 2025. It's an opportunity for Parisians of all ages to discover the heritage of the Ile-de-France region through a vast program of unusual visits and events. Numerous venues lend themselves to the game: castles, monuments, institutions, ministries, museums, workshops... all united in the desire to showcase the heritage treasures of the Paris region from every angle. Each edition is punctuated by exceptional openings for the enjoyment of the general public.

The Quartier des Halles tour
Discovering the Halles district
Among other things, the tour will: - evoke its history and evolution - that of the Innocents cemetery and the famous mange-tout - the last moments of Henri IV, the pillory - the puits d'amour - admire the façade of St Eustache church - and finish with Catherine de Médicis' incredible astronomical tower and the Halle au blé transformed into a museum (outside).
