The food competitions keep coming, but no two are alike in Paris and Île-de-France. After the award for the best organic bread in Île-de-France and ahead of the award for best apple tart, it’s time for the 2026 trophy for the best artisan baker in Hauts-de-Seine!
Once again, plenty of bakers entered this year. According to the Syndicat des Boulangers du Grand Paris, the awards ceremony was held on November 5. This fall, the artisan bakers from Hauts-de-Seine, competing in the “employer” category, had to bring their A-game, presenting a set of two traditional French baguettes, a set of two country loaves and a set of three croissants. Meanwhile, artisans competing in the “employees” category had to submit two traditional French baguettes. The same requirement applied to the apprentices competing.
So, who takes the top spot? Who wins the 2026 trophy for best artisan baker in Hauts-de-Seine? Catherine Oulé of BOOM, located in Neuilly-sur-Seine, was named the overall winner in the “business owners” category.
Congratulations to all the winners and participants!
