Paris FC - FC Metz at Jean Bouin stadium: parking and traffic bans

Traffic is expected to be difficult in western Paris this Sunday, August 31, 2025, due to the Ligue 1 match between Paris Football Club and Football Club de Metz. A decree issued by the Préfecture de Police has temporarily modified parking and traffic regulations in several streets in the 16th arrondissement and Boulogne-Billancourt. We tell you all about it.

Football fans are in for a treat on Matchday 3 of Ligue 1. Scheduled for Sunday August 31, 2025, it will pit Paris FC against FC Metz. In the 2025-2026 season, this will be Paris Football Club's first home match and the first Ligue 1 match at the Jean Bouin stadium.

But this eagerly-awaited match is likely to disrupt traffic in the west of Paris. The Paris Prefecture de Police has issued a decree to this effect. The decree will temporarily restrict parking and vehicular traffic on several roads in the 16th arrondissement and in Boulogne-Billancourt. The aim of the bans? To " ensure the smooth running of this event, as well as the safety of the public and participants ". So, what can we expect this Sunday? Here are the details of the disruptions to be expected on August 31, 2025.

In detail, parking for " all types of vehicles " is prohibited on August 31, 2025 from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm, in several streets in the 16th arrondissement of Paris and Boulogne-Billancourt, namely:

  • avenue de la Porte Molitor ;
  • rue Nungesser et Coli, between avenue de la Porte Molitor and place de l'Europe;
  • allée Charles Brennus ;
  • avenue du Général Sarrail, between rue Raffaëlli and rue Lecomte du Noüy ;
  • rue Lecomte du Noüy ;
  • avenue du Parc des Princes ;
  • rue du Commandant Guilbaud, from place de l'Europe to rue du Parc ;
  • place de l'Europe ;
  • rue Claude Farrère ;
  • rue Joseph Bernard, from rue de La Tourelle to rue Nungesser et Coli.

On August 31, 2025, from 2:15 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., traffic of all types will be prohibited in the following streets and sections of streets in the 16th arrondissement of Paris and Boulogne-Billancourt:

  • rue Nungesser et Coli, between avenue de la Porte Molitor and place de l'Europe;
  • allée Charles Brennus ;
  • avenue du Général Sarrail, between rue Raffaëlli and rue Lecomte du Noüy ;
  • rue Lecomte du Noüy ;
  • avenue du Parc des Princes ;
  • rue du Commandant Guilbaud, from place de l'Europe to rue du Parc ;
  • place de l'Europe ;
  • rue Claude Farrère ;
  • rue Joseph Bernard, from rue de La Tourelle to rue Nungesser et Coli.
