Metro line 7: traffic disrupted between Chaussée d'Antin - La Fayette and Place d'Italie

Due to a serious personal accident, traffic on line 7 of the Paris metro is interrupted this Friday, September 26, 2025, between Chaussée d'Antin - La Fayette and Place d'Italie. The estimated time of resumption is around 3pm.

Be careful if you have to use metro line 7 this Friday, September 26, 2025. RATP announces that traffic is currently interrupted between Chaussée d'Antin - La Fayette and Place d'Italie stations. This follows a"serious personal accident" at Châtelet station, says the Régie autonome des transports parisiens.

What are the consequences? Traffic is disrupted this Friday lunchtime on metro line 7, between Chaussée d'Antin - La Fayette and Place d'Italie. Several stations on line 7 are currently out of service: Les Gobelins, Censier-Daubenton, Place Monge, Jussieu, Sully-Morland, Pont Marie, Châtelet, Pont Neuf, Palais-Royal - Musée du Louvre, Pyramide and Opéra.

So when will traffic resume? At the time of writing, RATP estimates that traffic will resume at around 3pm. In the meantime, users are advised to take alternative routes, such as metro lines 1, 4, 10 or 14, as well as RER lines A and B.
