Every year, it's the same story: stars, journalists and film buffs bask in the Cannes sunshine, while the vast majority of moviegoers in Paris wait patiently for the official competition and parallel selections to arrive in cinemas.
This year, the anticipation is all the greater for the fact that only two films - from the various Cannes selections - were released in cinemas at the same time as their presentation at Cannes 2024: Christophe Honoré's Marcello Mio and Quentin Dupieux's Le Deuxième Acte.
Fortunately, a handful of events are striving to bring the atmosphere and discoveries of the Cannes Film Festival to Parisians... Among them, the now-famous Cannes à Paris, which unveils previews of films in the official selection. Head to the MK2 Bibliothèque from May 25 to 28, 2024!
