The wait is finally over... Advance Wars 1+2 Re-Boot Camp, originally scheduled for 2021 and then delayed due to the international political situation, has been available on Nintendo Switch since April 21, 2023. This long-awaited remake of the classic Advance Wars and Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising, developed by WayForward, promises to delight strategy fans with modernized graphics and gameplay.

Advance Wars 1+2 Re-Boot Camp features turn-based military strategy gameplay, where players must move land, air and sea units around the battlefield to eliminate enemy squads and capture cities and bases. Commanders from different nations, such as Andy, Max and Sami, each bring their own specialties and powers, adding an extra tactical dimension to the battles.
In addition to the two single-player campaigns, the game includes a Versus mode allowing four players to battle it out on dozens of maps, customizing their confrontations with options such as allied base backgrounds and fog of war.
