The wait is finally coming to an end... Advance Wars 1+2 Re-Boot Camp, originally scheduled for 2021 and then delayed due to the international political situation, is available on Nintendo Switch since April 21, 2023. This long-awaited remake of the classic Advance Wars and Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising, developed by WayForward, promises to delight strategy fans with updated graphics and gameplay.

Advance Wars 1+2 Re-Boot Camp features turn-based military strategy gameplay, where players must move land, air and sea units across the battlefield to eliminate enemy squads and capture cities and bases. Commanders from different nations, such as Andy, Max and Sami, each bring their own specialties and powers, providing an added tactical dimension to the battles.
In addition to the two single-player campaigns, the game includes a Versus mode that allows four players to battle it out on dozens of maps, customizing their battles with options such as allied base backgrounds and fog of war.
