Berluti: Reservations open tomorrow for Journées Particulières 2026

Just one day to go until registration opens at Berluti for the 2026 Journées Particulières. From October 16 to 18, the public will have the chance to see how a bespoke shoe is crafted in the Paris workshop.

For the curious who like to know what goes on behind glossy façades, the Journées Particulières return from 16 to 18 October 2026. Over three days, the Maisons of the LVMH group open their workshops and know-how to the public, with artisans in the spotlight. Berluti takes the saying literally: at 33 rue Marbeuf, in the 8th arrondissement, its bespoke shoe workshop will exceptionally welcome the public into the daily life of its bootmakers. Free reservations will open on 24 September 2026 at 2:00 PM, subject to availability.

A story of the foot, yes, but above all of the hand. Berluti was born in Paris in 1895, when the Italian bootmaker Alessandro Berluti settled there to showcase his craft. Among the models that have defined its history is the Alessandro, a lace-up pump cut from a single piece of leather with no visible seam. Since then, the House has broadened its range to leather goods and ready-to-wear, but the shoe remains firmly at the center of its identity.

For the 2026 edition, the tour returns precisely to where it all begins. Visitors meet the artisans who progressively bring the shoe to life and discover the the work of the cuir Venezia, a material emblematic of the House. From hand-sculpted form to the final color, the journey mainly helps explain why Bespoke demands such precision. And since Berluti is also famed for its shades, it’s impossible to leave without stopping by the patine, this technique that has become one of its signatures.
