Heading to Le Mesnil-Saint-Denis, in the Yvelines (78), to catch the quarterfinal of France vs. Morocco at the World Cup 2026 on a giant screen this Thursday, July 9. The association La Tribu Délire is setting up its fan zone at the Guinguette des Ateliers, along the Lévis-Saint-Nom road, and gates open at 7:30 p.m. to keep fans in the mood before kickoff. A welcome boon for residents in the southern part of the department, who often have to drive farther afield to find a communal screen.
The poster promises a heated duel. Four years after their Qatar World Cup semifinal (France won 2-0), France and Morocco meet again, this time for a place in the semi-finals. The kick-off is at 22:00 French time from Boston’s stadium, with the subplot of a reunion between Kylian Mbappé and Achraf Hakimi, former PSG teammates.
On site, La Tribu Délire designed the evening for everyone — from football fans to casual onlookers just there to soak up the atmosphere. The guinguette spirit the venue is known for is in full swing, with food and drinks on offer before propelling France toward the semi-finals. It’s already the seventh such evening organized by the association since the World Cup kicked off.
The venue opens its doors at 7:30 p.m., at Guinguette des Ateliers (6 route de Lévis-Saint-Nom), with free admission. We suggest arriving a bit early, as the Blues’ big evenings fill up quickly, and the giant screen remains the best way to share the match’s emotions with the crowd. All details can be found on the Mesnil-Saint-Denis town website and on the La Tribu Délire Facebook page.
For those who’d rather stay on the sofa, France-Maroc is being broadcast free-to-air on M6 (and on beIN Sports). We’ll spell out the kick-off time and channel in our dedicated quarterfinal article. And to find another spot, we’ve listed all the Yvelines fan zones that will be showing the giant screens this Thursday, along with a comprehensive guide to Paris and Île-de-France fan zones.
If they qualify, the Blues would play their semifinal on July 14 (a nice symbol, even if they win), ahead of a possible final on Sunday July 19, 2026. That said, the south of Yvelines may still be buzzing.
