The seventh art comes to the homes of the illustrious in the heart of the Yvelines, as an open-air film festival brings free screenings to communities across the department this summer of 2026.

The Yvelines Ciné festival is back this summer for its 15th edition, in July and August 2026. Nearly 70 films will be screened across the department’s towns, giving residents the chance to enjoy free outdoor cinema sessions in parks and other open spaces near them. You’ll also find in the Yvelines superb artist houses or illustrious figures who left their mark on France.

Stunning backdrops to host three cinema screenings at dusk, in the heart of leafy parks. Activities and quizzes run from 8 p.m. to keep audiences entertained before the films begin.

At the Maison Jean Monnet in Bazoches-sur-Guyonne, families are invited to (re)discover the superb animated film "Flow, the cat who was no longer afraid of water", on Saturday, July 18, while at the Maison Elsa Triolet in Saint-Arnoult-en-Yvelines, a drama-comedy is on offer on Monday, July 20, "See You Up There".

As for the Maison Raymond Devos in Saint-Rémy-lès-Cchevreuse, you’ll have to wait until Thursday 27 August for the screening of Charlie Chaplin’s film "Modern Times", dating from 1936!
