Summer arrives in the Paris region , and with it the vacation spirit! With the sun beaming down on Paris and the surrounding area, Parisians are getting into the summer swing of things, taking advantage of the return of sunny days to sunbathe and swim all season long.
While on the banks of the Seine and canals, Parisians for a day and for ever are taking part in such not-to-be-missed events as Paris Plages and L'Été du Canal, in the 93 district of Paris, the town of La Courneuve is also getting into the swing of summer with the unveiling of its La Courneuve Plage event. This year's edition will be all the more special as the event celebrates its 20th anniversary, with an anniversary party and distinguished guests.
From July 5 to August 3, 2025, head to Parc de la Liberté to discover an astonishing transformation. The green expanses of this garden will be adorned with a number of pools, while residents and visitors alike will get out their bathing suits, towels and sun cream to enjoy the holiday atmosphere. La Courneuve-sur-mer, as it were!
