Lynyrd Skynyrd in concert at the Zénith in Paris in June 2027

Craving a solid dose of Southern rock? Rejoice! Lynyrd Skynyrd, the legendary Florida-born band, is gearing up to tour Europe in 2027. On the agenda? A string of concerts at several festivals, including Clam Rock in Austria and Lieder am See in Germany.

In France, Lynyrd Skynyrd is set to delight fans with an indoor concert scheduled at the Zénith de Paris on Tuesday, June 29, 2027. What about tickets? Gérard Drouot Productions has announced a presale available from Thursday, September 17 at 10:00. The general on-sale is meanwhile set for Friday, September 18 at 10:00, available at all outlets.

With over 30 million albums sold worldwide, the Lynyrd Skynyrd, inducted into the Rock'n Roll Hall Of Fame in 2006, remain a musical touchstone for many, thanks in large part to the 1974 release of their second album, "Second Helping". Powered by the hit “Sweet Home Alabama”, the record has earned multi-platinum status several times.

This was followed by"Gimme Back my bullets", and"Street survivor", released just three days before the terrible plane crash that claimed the lives of singer Ronnie Van Zant and guitarist Steve Gaines.

The band was finally re-formed 10 years later with the survivors and Johnny Van Zant - Ronnie's brother - on vocals. Sadly, Billy Powell passed away in 2009. As for guitarist Gary Rossington, the last original member and founder of the band, he passed away in 2023 at the age of 71.

This concert at the Zénith de Paris will be a milestone for Lynyrd Skynyrd as they mark more than six decades in the business, while also paying tribute to former members who have passed away.

We should note that the last Lynyrd Skynyrd concert in Paris was in 2025. That year, the band parked its gear at Zénith de La Villette. This very Paris venue will once again thrill to the southern rock sound of Lynyrd Skynyrd on June 29, 2027.
