Do you live in the Val-d'Oise and are you a nostalgia-driven 80s fan? Celebrate: a new music festival highlighting this iconic decade is coming to the Île-de-France region. Simply titled "Back to 1980", the festival lands from Friday, July 3 to Sunday, July 5, 2026 in Taverny.
The town had been hosting the Do You Remember festival until recently. After moving this event to the Abbaye Notre-Dame du Val in Mériel, a new 80s festival lands in Taverny this summer. So what’s on the bill? Three days of celebration bringing together a lineup that defined a whole generation. On the lineup front, the Back to 1980 festival has revealed the first names for its very first edition. From July 3 to 5, 2026, get ready to catch Sabine Paturel, Phil Barney, the British singer‑songwriter and producer Leee John of Imagination, and Ottawan, the legendary duo who got everyone dancing with hits "D.I.S.C.O." and "Hands Up". More names will be announced soon, so stay tuned!
To ensure complete immersion, the Back to 1980 festival will also feature vintage decorations and eighties-inspired activities.
Billed as a major public celebration, the Festival Back to 1980 invites not only 80s nostalgia buffs but also fans of pop, disco, new wave, and variété, from July 3 to 5, 2026 in the heart of the Parc François-Mitterrand. On the ticketing side, expect €25 for a day pass.
