TRÀ-ART is the combination of the love of art and gourmet food. This hybrid spot is both an art gallery and a tea house that proudly represents Vietnamese culture in Paris. On the program, artistic discoveries, Vietnamese specialties and good organic tea!

Looking for an artistic escape in the heart of Paris? We've unearthed a spot that combines a love of art, travel and tea. Head for the capital's 10th arrondissement, at no. 34 rue Bichat, to discover TRÀ-ART, a hybrid space that immerses you in Vietnamese culture.

What isTRÀ-ART? TRÀ-ART is the brainchild of Vân, a young Vietnamese photographer who wanted to promote her country's culture through her two passions: art and tea.

First and foremost, it's a contemporary art gallery where, every quarter, we come to discover the works of Vietnamese artists and acquire a favorite piece. At the moment, for example, the first exhibition is dedicated to Pipou and her digital paintings, each of which depicts a past love affair and explains how these relationships helped shape the person she is today. A personal introspection that may well echo our respective histories.

But it's also a tea counter where you can discover new products from Vietnam. These come from small producers, including a cooperative that allows us to taste blends from wild tea bushes in the hills. This is known as the tea of the peaks. Vân shares with us this unique tasting experience, which she recounts with great passion to this day.

It's the memory of discovering an impressive forest of centuries-old tea trees stretching through the mountains of northern Vietnam. Originally, this escapade was to be the subject of a series of photographs. But it also gave rise to the project for this unique tea boutique in Paris. In addition to the great vintages that Vân invites us to taste through her"Nuage Sauvage" brand, we are guaranteed an ethical purchase thanks to fair trade.

Finally, stay tuned for more on the TRÀ-ART adventure. Soon, this unusual spot will be home to a tea room, where you'll be able not only to taste new vintages, but also French-Vietnamese pastries and revisited specialties. On the menu: cream puffs or, more surprisingly, a sweet version of bánh chưng!
