It's time for fun! The Grand Palais is hosting Fun Palace, an artistic and architectural reflection on forms of community and shared pleasure, as part of the Centre Pompidou's New Assemble program. The installation is free to view from June 6 to 15, 2025.

An immersive and artistic exhibition of the wildest kind... From June 6 to 15, 2025, the Grand Palais is hosting Fun Palace, an event conceived as part of the Centre Pompidou's New Assemble program, in co-production with the GrandPalaisRmn and with the support of the Chanel Culture Fund. Installed in the Salon d'Honneur, this project explores forms of community capable of generating pleasure and shared happiness through architecture, design and contemporary art.

Following on from the 2023 edition Platform for New Assemblies, which focused on intimacy, Fun Palace this time looks at public spaces and how they can foster more inclusive, modular assemblies. The event brings together architects, designers, researchers and artists around conferences, performances, culinary and sound experiences. A number of designers have been commissioned, including the Italian duo Studio Ossidiana, artist and author Alice Bucknell, and philosopher Emanuele Coccia, who initiated the theme of shared happiness.

We discover a large pink structure, a series of tents divided into different areas. Under each tent, you'll find a collaborative video game, board games... In between, spaces for meetings, exchanges and performances... The idea is to exist together, without necessarily taking part in the same activity. The idea is to exist together, without necessarily taking part in the same activity: to have fun side by side, talking and listening in this large, friendly, playful center.
