5:00 pm - Performance by Pierre Klein and Antoine Vallé, visual artists
© " 𝘑𝘦 𝘯𝘦 𝘴𝘢𝘪𝘴 𝘱𝘢𝘴 𝘷𝘰𝘭𝘦𝘳 " performance by Pierre Klein and Antoine Vallé
For this event, JAD invites Pierre Klein and Antoine Vallé to create an artistic and poetic performance with paper birds.
"For the duration of a performance, we attempt to give ambient air an essential role. This fluid, invisible, dimensionless substance accompanies infra-thin surfaces and solid bodies subject to the law of gravity.
We propose to direct attention towards the invisible that surrounds us through the combined movements of choreography, air friction and gravity."
This performance will be followed by a mediation session. Pierre Klein, a visual artist and ENSCI graduate, creates poetic flying objects inspired by nature - tree leaves or bird silhouettes - sometimes weighted down with mirror paper to better direct the flight trajectory.
Duration 1h
Free of charge, subject to availability
Activities for young audiences
Throughout the afternoon, JAD will be offering young visitors the chance to explore the exhibition Aléas, pratiques de l'adaptation.
A playful, sensory way to explore the unforeseen aspects of creative gestures, the materials that creators shape, the resources at their disposal, possible uses and even the sometimes unpredictable external elements.
Matière à penser program
Between September 2023 and May 2025, 8 classes of 4th and 3rd graders discovered arts and crafts through workshops led by designers from a variety of disciplines: Anne Agbadou-Masson / Atelier AnneAgma, Morgane Baroghel-Crucq, Fanny Boucher, Luce Couillet, Lison de Caunes, Rose Ekwé, Marion Gouez, Hervé Obligi and Nelly Saunier.
The students and all the partners in the program invite you to discover their productions through an exhibition - a restitution of the "Matière à penser" program of excellence in Artistic and Cultural Education led by the JAD creators with theAcadémie de Versailles, the Musée des Arts Décoratifs and the Grands Ateliers de France.
