From June 24, 2025, the Musée de l'Air et de l'Espace will be offering an enriched tour, including a new exhibition space.

Already very comprehensive, the Musée de l'Air et de l'Espace offers you an even greater, even crazier immersion in its permanent collections dedicated to aircraft, air navigation and the conquest of space, with the addition of a new permanent space to the collections, from June 24, 2025.

This time, the new space will be dedicated to air navigation and control. In partnership with teams from the French Civil Aviation Authority (DGAC), the new space is located beneath the museum's control tower, which plays a central role in the museum. This is where the controllers have worked for decades, and where visitors will be able to discover how air navigation works, entering through the beautiful Hall des Huit Colonnes.

The new space has been designed around several themes:

  • Air navigation (flight instruments, navigation techniques...)
  • Air traffic control (airspace, controllers, etc.)

What's on the program? You'll find out absolutely everything you need to know about today's air safety systems, navigation methods and the behind-the-scenes aspects of air navigation, through maps, digital displays... In all, there's over 400 m² to discover, explore and study, with interactive and other features designed for the whole family, including the very young.
