Rock'n' Drôle: Antoine de Caunes' free exhibition at Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche - last days

Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche goes rockin' back to school with Rock'n'Drôle, a free, offbeat exhibition by Antoine de Caunes. From August 30 to October 19, 2025, riffs, fashion, curiosities and installations electrify this Parisian shopping mecca on the Left Bank. Ready to vibrate to the rhythm of the legends?

Put on your perfectos, put on your dark glasses and turn up the volume! This fall, Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche is staging Rock'n'Drôle, a free, wacky exhibition curated by the hilarious Antoine de Caunes. From August 30 to October 19, 2025, the Left Bank shopping temple takes a trip to the rock scene, for an electric, funny and furiously stylish tribute.

The guest of honor? Mr. Rock himself. Antoine de Caunes, riff in his skin and passion amplified to the max, takes over the store like a Marshall TV set. He orchestrates the programming, the scenography, the soundtrack... and resurrects, in passing, the mythical Didier Lembrouille, his Dick Rivers fan alter ego, ready to do battle with a good dose of humor and second degree.

And to dress up this unusual exhibition, drawings by the famous illustrator Zep can be seen everywhere, from the windows to the packaging, as well as on many of the décor elements.

On the 2nd floor, we head for The Rock Motel, a life-size motel where each room pays homage to a legend of the genre, chosen from Antoine's personal pantheon. His voice guides the visit, as cult objects, fetish records and a nod to Lembrouille.... echo in the rock spirit!

On the 1st floor, it's time for the studios, with Artistic Palace rocking the walls. Kiliwatch's selection of second-hand clothes, rare vinyl and magazines from Bonjour Jacob, scratch guitars from Gibson... a true paradise for enthusiasts.

On the first floor, backstage, the spirit of rock infiltrates fashion with upcycled accessories from Atelier Casta, as well as vinyl from Big Smile Bazar, punchy T-shirts from Thomas Lelu (exclusive) and many other curiosities with concert energy on steroids.

On the Home side, rock is at the table with Paulin Paulin Paulin, Poltronova, USM, Brionvega and Untitled 19. Even porcelain tableware challenges the art of entertaining with rebellious, trompe-l'œil motifs.

And because a good live show doesn't end with the last song, in the evening, talks hosted by journalist Julien Bitoun will prolong the atmosphere. Let there be rock!
