The Hôtel de la Marine will open its doors to visitors free of charge on April 11 and 12, 2026, for exclusive guided tours... As part of the Heritage Trades Days, meet the artisans dedicated to preserving this historic monument.

Hidden beneath the gilded ceilings of the Hôtel de la Marine is a long and storied history... but also an extraordinary craftsmanship! To maintain and preserve this historic monument, countless artisans are working tirelessly behind the scenes. Meet these skilled professionals and learn about their masterful techniques during JEMA 2026.

The JEMA, or European Days of Artistic Crafts, is an annual event that offers a deeper look into the world of craftsmanship. These specialized trades require unique and exceptional skills and knowledge. From cabinetmakers, glassblowers, and milliners, to fountain engineers, stone sculptors, gilders, cutlers, painters, denture artisans, and calligraphers... More than 280 craft professions are celebrated under this prestigious umbrella.

During the European Heritage Days, the general public has the opportunity to meet local artisans, engage in conversations with them, and even watch live demonstrations… all while exploring monuments, workshops, museums, and heritage sites. It's the kind of event we truly enjoy!

As you might have guessed, the Hôtel de la Marine will be participating in the 2026 European Heritage Days, taking place on April 11 and 12 this coming weekend. To mark the occasion, this historic site will host a range of free activities suitable for all visitors. Be sure to reserve your tickets now to don't miss out.
