Normally, it costs 3 euros to visit the large park surrounding Hangar Y, in Meudon. But from January 10, 2024, you'll be able to visit it for free, every Wednesday!

In recent months, Hangar Y, the former airship workshop, has been given a facelift and a new lease of life, becoming a cultural venue open to all. In addition to exciting exhibitions all year round, the venue boasts a superb 10-hectare park and a pretty lake, in Meudon, Hauts-de-Seine. From January 10, 2024, access will be free every Wednesday, instead of 3 euros the rest of the week. Perfect for a nice family outing!

After all, Wednesday is children's day! So this is the perfect opportunity for them to discover this immense green spaceand the works it contains, forming a playful open-air artistic trail. 19 leading names on today's international scene, including Christian Boltanski, Sarah Lucas, Ugo Rondinone, Subodh Gupta and Kiki Smith, have left their poetic installations and sculptures here, addressing the theme of the senses, nature and wild animals.

Along the pond, visitors can also enjoy exclusive sound creations and soak up the sounds around them. A children's playground, picnic tables and benches in the park invite you to slow down for a day or an afternoon. Let's make the most of these free Wednesdays!
