After years of anticipation, the new extension of the Disney Adventure World park (formerly Walt Disney Studios) is set to open to the public on March 29, 2026. Surrounding the lake area stands the zone’s emblematic highlight, the Snow Queen’s Castle, perched at the heart of a layout inspired by the city of Arendelle.
This structure echoes the Château de la Belle au Bois Dormant located in the first park. It’s actually open to visitors and houses shops, decorative elements or even a secret dungeon. With that in mind, some may wonder whether it’s also possible to go inside the Château d'Arendelle.
Unlike the first park, you can’t enter Anna and Elsa’s dwelling: it’s purely decorative. However, near it there’s a spot that in a way recreates the exploration of Arendelle Castle. It’s the Royal Encounter, a meet-and-greet in which visitors first stroll through the Castle Portrait Gallery before meeting Anna and Elsa: fans of the Frozen universe can chat with the two queens and snap souvenir photos.
