The Fête des Guinguettes 2026 is set to flood the streets and parks of the Plessis-Robinson, in the Hauts-de-Seine(92), from Wednesday, June 11 to Sunday, June 14, 2026. For its 37th edition, the town taps back into its festive, popular roots, with a children's carnival, an exceptional concert plunging into the 1990s-2000s, fireworks, Belle Époque carousel rides, and the grand return of Montmartre to Robinson. And as always, entry is free.
Almost 180 years after a restaurateur named Joseph Gueusquin conceived the idea of perching his establishment in a chestnut tree in the Val d'Aulnay, thereby launching the pastoral guinguette craze that would put Robinson on the map, the town of Le Plessis-Robinson picks up the thread with the same energy. It’s this singular story, by the way, that gave the Robinson district its name and, over the decades, made it Paris’s go-to spot for guinguettes, dancing, and wide-open skies.
The festivities kick off Wednesday evening with an evening of refined elegance at the Théâtre de l'Allegria: the Miss and Mister Robinson election. Candidates from the city step up to represent its colors with charm and flair, in a festive, welcoming atmosphere. The audience gets a front-row seat to a true show. Admission is free, with seats available by reservation at the Maison des Arts starting Tuesday, June 2, subject to availability.
The Saturday is first and foremost for the youngest visitors. From 3 p.m., the children’s carnival takes over the terraces of Parc Henri-Sellier, with Batucada Freestyle Systems setting the beat, followed by a parade of giant colorful animals, stilt walkers from the Marias de la Muerte in Día de los Muertos costumes, balloon sculptors, and the Latino Show troupe with their inflatable parrot float. The vintage rides are free: the 1930s Caterpillar, the Belle Époque Carousel from 1900, the Big Wheel from 1900, the boats on swings, and the Push-Push cart run without costing a penny. A snack is even offered to kids arriving in costume.
Starting at 7 p.m., the Grand Terrace of Parc Henri-Sellier becomes an open-air stage for a music evening that’s shaping up to be memorable. Hosted by Corentin Lainé, the Ultravadance Party 1990-2000 brings together Mike, July, Tomy and Diegow, the four artists unveiled on the cult show N'oubliez pas les paroles on France 2, for more than 60 hits sequenced with choreographies. In the finale, Chico & The Gypsies take the stage for a moment of shared rhythms and big hits. Throughout the evening, the poetic promenade Symphonie Aquatik blends light and magic for an immersive spectacle, a novelty this year. And to close in style, a fireworks display lights up the park from 11 p.m.
Note: the L'Avant-Scène restaurant serves its summer fare on-site, with reservations essential at 06 21 99 12 19. Guests may also bring a guinguette-style picnic, provided they purchase a drink on-site. Glass bottles are not allowed on the large terrace.
Sunday morning, costumed early risers are expected from 9:30 a.m. at the Grand'Place du Cœur de Ville for a complimentary breakfast, with live music from Les Swing Musette and Les ambianceurs, in the presence of the Miss and Mister Robinson contestants. The parade of vintage cars then makes its way to the market from 11:30 a.m.
Next up is the Parc du Moulin Fidel and Rue de Malabry, the heart of the celebration all afternoon, from noon to 6 p.m. You’ll encounter vintage horse-drawn vehicles, old 1930s–1950s buses from the RATP Museum, classic cars and bicycles, a living farm with ponies, cows, sheep, and geese, and demonstrations of traditional trades (washing, rope-making, blacksmithing, and milling). Food trucks make their debut this year, alongside stalls selling regional specialties (Corsican specialties, honey, craft beers, aligot, and Aubrac sausages cooked on site).
This 2026 edition marks the grand comeback of Montmartre to Robinson, jointly organized by the Lions Club du Plessis-Robinson and the association Montmartre à la une. At 2:30 p.m., an induction ceremony will take place at Moulin Fidel, featuring the Petits Poulbots brass band and the Companions of the Butte Montmartre choir. An exhibition by around twenty Montmartre artists (paintings, sculptures, photographs) will then run from Tuesday, June 9 to Sunday, June 14 at Moulin Fidel, free admission.
Another new feature this edition: the Cirque des Guinguettes, an open-air show from 1:30 PM to 6 PM on the Grand Terrace of Henri-Sellier Park, featuring tightrope walker Rolimax (who defies the void more than 6 meters above the ground), comic dogs, contortion acts, and circus workshops.
As we wander all day, we encounter the ambiance-makers in French Cancan style, the Cyclos Swing, Charleston dancers, the groups Calèches et Crinolines and Les Gentianes, as well as the Barbaroké from Théâtre du Kalam, where the hurdy-gurdy meets giant karaoke.
The Guinguette Festival 2026 is accessible by the RER B (Robinson station), by bus from Châtillon-Montrouge (line 195), or by tram lines T6 (Division Leclerc stop) and T10 (Malabry stop). Bag checks will be carried out throughout the event area; glass and non-transparent containers are prohibited.
For all generations, from toddlers to grandparents, whether you’re with family, as a couple, or with friends, this outing has something to delight everyone. Costumed children are especially highlighted on Saturday afternoon. A perfect outing for those who long for the Belle Époque as well as for first-timers discovering the Île-de-France guinguette tradition.
