June sees the return of the Rendez-vous aux Jardins ! With the return of fine weather, we're off to discover the green spaces and nature that surround us in the Ile-de-France region, and particularly in Yvelines, a department with a beautiful botanical heritage. For a few days, superb public and private gardens will be opening their doors to the general public, offering a range of events and activities for the curious and the passionate alike!

A princely, royal, imperial and then presidential residence, the Château de Rambouillet and its grounds are steeped in history and boast some remarkable nooks and crannies, including the Queen's Dairy, the Chaumière aux coquillages and the Bergerie nationale, not to be missed. [Read more]
And what better way to get away from it all for a few hours than on the vast estate of Rambouillet? Located just a stone's throw from the château, the Bergerie Nationale is an experimental farm created by Louis XVI in 1785, to house a flock of Merino sheep. Subsequently, a number of other species settled in Rambouillet, including Swiss cows, Angora goats and pedigree horses. The Montorgueil garden , with its sensory experience, is a real educational area!
