What if you went behind the scenes? To mark its 35th anniversary, France Miniature Park in Élancourt (78) invites you to an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour from April 11 to May 3, 2026. This rare opportunity offers a glimpse into the making and daily life of its miniature monuments, painstakingly crafted millimeter by millimeter.

Small in size, enormous in privilege. For its 35th anniversary, France Miniature is opening its behind-the-scenes areas to the public for an exclusive peek, inviting the curious to see the world from a different perspective. Located in the well-known park nestled in Élancourt (78), visitors no longer just gaze at the landmarks—they get an inside look at how they come to life, inch by inch.

From April 11 to May 3, 2026 (excluding Mondays and Tuesdays), this exclusive new tour offers a rare immersive experience designed as a special anniversary event. Suitable for those aged 10 and up, participation is by reservation only (spaces are limited). Spontaneous visitors can also try to reserve on the day of their visit, subject to availability.

First stop: the model-making workshops. Here, visitors discover the key stages of craftsmanship, the materials involved, and the amount of time required to craft every detail and bring the park's monuments to life. It’s a meticulous process, where every millimeter matters.

The tour also grants access to areas usually off-limits to visitors. Maintenance, restoration, daily activities — it offers insight into how the park is cared for and refreshed throughout the year. Watch, listen, touch — an immersive experience that allows you to see Miniature France from a completely new perspective.

For practical purposes, the tour is conducted in French and costs €9 per person, in addition to the park admission fee. This fee is essential to take part in the guided visit.

A behind-the-scenes look reminds us that behind every tiny monument lies a craftsmanship of monumental scale.
