Along the banks of the Canal de l'Ourcq, between Pantin and La Villette, Jardin21 is the must-visit spot this summer. DJ sets, dance nights, workshops for kids...

Jardin21 is making a grand comeback! This 1,500-square-meter space nestled within the Parc de la Villette and on the outskirts of Pantin is more than just a site — it’s a revitalizing haven and a true vegetable garden, brimming with fruit trees, aromatic plants, and seasonal fruits and vegetables.

This summer 2026, the Ourcq Canal vegetable garden is set to host an exciting lineup of events, with a genuine program of arts, culture, and festivities. The schedule includes workshops and meetings to learn gardening techniques and eco-friendly practices, acoustic concerts, markets featuring local producers and ethical artisans, as well as sports classes, yoga, and even self-defense sessions. There will also be creative workshops for both adults and children to enjoy.

In the evening, you can enjoy electronic evenings hosted by local house and disco collectives! And this year, Jardin21 offers a host of new features: open-air screenings, broadcasts of Drag Race France and theWomen's Euro soccer tournament, stand-up comedy by the Académie de l'Humour hosted by comedian Anninka, themed weekends on women's issues and ecology, performances, plays and much more.

It's also an opportunity to (re)discover the Cantine du Jardin and its menu of meat, vegetarian and vegan dishes, always with an emphasis on local produce. What's on the menu? Planks of charcuterie and cheese to nibble on, hots dogs to eat on the go, burgers or healthier options with poke bowls and salads.

All locally produced, with Brie de Meaux melting into your cheeseburger, a brioche bun kneaded and baked in Paris, French meats and, above all, plenty of vegetarian options, all accompanied by home fries of course. And, as in previous years, Jardin 21 is keeping an eye on your wallet with a range of events, most of them free or at very affordable prices!

Please note that it's been over 4 years since our last visit, so the place and experience may have changed.
