Auteuil Brasserie, two new events this winter

A winter breakfast and a warming aperitif is what Auteuil Brasserie offers in the 16th arrondissement. The opportunity to enjoy its covered winter garden, warm under a plaid.

Vintage crockery, "Wes Andersonian" decor and a feeling of being at home: you're at the Auteuil Brasserie, just a stone's throw from the door of the same name. This winter, the vintage-chic establishment is offering two new appointments: a new breakfast formula and a mulled wine aperitif that will make you forget icy rain and grey skies for a moment.

Auteuil Brasserie

Housed in an old railway station, the place has a real charm all of its own. Some will find a Californian ambience, while others will find a hint of Italy. In fact, it's all about Italy on the menu, whether it's for breakfast, with a range of Italian-style coffees (mocha, latte, con panna...), or for therosso & bianco mulled wine aperitif to accompany foccacia and squid à la romaine.

Auteuil Brasserie

Copious is the only way to describe our hearty breakfast on this rainy January Saturday. I went with the "petit-déjeuner Auteuil", featuring its detox juice, candied-fruit panettone, fromage blanc granola banana honey and a double espresso. The kiwi/cucumber/mint/lemon juice… a marvel of refreshment! The panettone, a fruit-and-nut brioche, was very good.

A huge bowl of fromage blanc with granola later and we’re on the rooftop of the venue, a stunning vegetated terrace that comes alive in the evening. Safe from the chill, tucked under a cozy blanket, we savor the warm-wine recipes crafted by sommelier Nicolas Rebut, former of the Hotel Meurice and of Alain Ducasse in Monaco.
