The 2026 Cheese and Wine Fair in Coulommiers: The Premier Event for Local Produce

From March 27 to 30, 2026, the Coulommiers Cheese and Wine Fair (Seine-et-Marne) returns for its 57th edition. This beloved event showcases the best of local produce, regional farming, and innovative agriculture from Île-de-France through four days packed with activities, tastings, and convivial encounters.

The Coulommiers Cheese and Wine Fair is making its return from March 27 to 30, 2026, for its 57th edition. Recognized as the second-largest agricultural fair in Île-de-France after the Paris International Agricultural Show, it draws nearly 70,000 visitors each year eager to explore the region’s authentic flavors and local produce.

Supported by the Île-de-France Regional Chamber of Agriculture, the event brings together over 200 exhibitors. Farmers, producers, and artisans showcase their products and craftsmanship, especially around local specialties such as the AOP Brie de Meaux, Brie de Melun, and Brie de Coulommiers.

Several areas structure the visit, including a farm village, a marquee dedicated to local produce, and another focused on animal husbandry. This year, sheep take center stage with the display of over 40 sheep and lambs from various breeds. Competitions, particularly for lambs and sheep, are scheduled for Saturday, March 28, in partnership with the Île-de-France Shepherds Association.

On the culinary front, the Terroir Pavilion offers a wide variety of local products sourced from the 'Bienvenue à la Ferme' network and 'Produit en Île-de-France': Brie lentils, oils (rapeseed, hazelnut), eggs, poultry rillettes, goat cheese, flours, apple juices and ciders, beers, wines, elderflower syrup, seasonal vegetables and fruits, and a stunning array of green, white, and violet asparagus.

The fair is also filled with activities for all ages: educational workshops for kids, horseback riding demonstrations, explorations of local farming practices, and farmers’ dairy product contests. A fun and tasty event that showcases Île-de-France's agricultural scene and its local producers!
