Mixtura 2026 returns to Chalet du Lac in the Bois de Vincennes on Saturday, September 5, 2026, for its fifth edition, centered on Peruvian gastronomy and culture. The program features 56 culinary specialties, concerts, traditional dances, an artisan village, and a grand festive night that lasts until dawn, with Japan as the guest nation.

Peru invades Paris for a day and a night. On Saturday, September 5, 2026, the Chalet du Lac, in the heart of the Bois de Vincennes, will host the 5th edition of Mixtura France, a festival dedicated to exploring Peruvian culture in all its forms. From 12:00 to 20:00, the Mixtura Day offers an immersion into gastronomy, craftsmanship, and performances, before handing over to Mixtura Fest, an evening of concerts and DJ sets that will carry on until 5 a.m.

Created by the Peruvian chef Daniel Montoya, with Ana Lucía Achata joining the lineup for cultural programming, Mixtura was born out of a desire to introduce the richness of the Peruvian heritage to French audiences. As the editions progressed, the event has grown to bring together chefs, artisans, artists and entrepreneurs around a shared mission: to reveal a country through its culinary traditions, its music, and its crafts.

The gastronomy naturally takes a central place in this edition 2026. More than 20 culinary spaces will let you sample 56 Peruvian specialties, from the ceviches to tiraditos, including causas, anticuchos, slow-cooked dishes, the wood-fired grills, or creations inspired by the nikkei cuisine. There will be demonstrations and masterclasses to enrich this gourmet journey, while an artisan village will highlight coffee, cacao, textiles, jewelry and Peruvian creations.

Throughout the day, visitors will also have the opportunity to attend traditional dance performances from the coast, the Andes and the Amazon, discover concerts, participate in family-friendly activities, or meet professionals in a dedicated networking space.

This year, Japan is the guest country of honor. The festival will highlight the historical ties between the two nations through Nikkei cuisine, born from the melding of Japanese and Peruvian culinary traditions. Tastings, saké experiences, and meetings with several chefs, including Luis Arévalo, will showcase this fusion gastronomy, now recognized worldwide.

From 8 p.m., the vibe will shift with Mixtura Fest, a night dedicated to Latin American music. Concerts, DJ sets, cocktails featuring pisco, and culinary experiences will keep the celebrations going until the wee hours. Among the announced artists is Pedro Loli, a standout figure in Peruvian cumbia!
