Danny Khezzar, Top Chef season 14 finalist, is extending his festive guinguette, his ephemeral restaurant-bar facing the Eiffel Tower, until mid-October 2023. Quai 96 is the name of the bar-restaurant that awaits you again this Indian summer.

Did you enjoy discovering his creations during season 14 of Top Chef ? Danny Khezzar, the revelation and finalist in Top Chef season 2023, is extending his festive guinguette on the quays opposite the Eiffel Tower. So, if you're not yet ready for a return trip to Geneva, here's a golden opportunity to sample his cuisine.

It's The Place To Be for lovers of fun and wacky gastronomy. Get ready to savor the young chef's bold creations this summer in Paris.

Top Chef prodigy Danny surprised everyone with his culinary skills. Despite his early elimination from the competition, he fought and defeated his rivals in the parallel competition to reach the final. In addition to being a chef, Danny is also a rapper.

This dynamic young man has just been promoted to chef of the Michelin-starred Bayview restaurant in Geneva. Suffice it to say, he's got a knack for it. In any case, this autumn, he's going the extra mile to treat us in the capital.

So, what does Danny have in store for you for this short-lived spot? The festive restaurant/bar, named Quai 96- a nod to the year of Danny's birth - is a 600 m² living space facing the Eiffel Tower. The space was imagined by Wild Buzz Agency and Paname Brewing Company, already behind Cargo on the quays of Bercy. Imagine a marriage between a festive guinguette and a basketball playground.

Danny promises us a place in his own image:

  • Two themed containers: a street food side, and a Latin side.

  • Graffiti and writingworkshops for children in the afternoons.

  • A cocktail bar run by Vincent, Danny's brother and the other half of Les Frères Bizzy.

  • Live entertainment on Sundays and evenings.

It's a veritable "living quay", as Danny himself describes it. Dj sets and mini showcases provide the evening's entertainment in this eclectic, gourmet venue. As for the cuisine, the chef offers a street gastro-inspired menu to discover on your own or to share with friends. The chef's secret blend of flavors is up to us. Imagine a delicious pâté en croûte kebab, Croquetas with cured ham and black garlic, or an ultra-gourmand guacamole with tequila and yuzu. Below in tasting format for the inauguration.
