Organized by Radio Alfa, the radio station serving Portuguese-speaking communities in France, Portuguese Gastronomy Week returns to the Val-de-Marne (94) for its 21st edition, from March 21 to 30. The event, which puts Portuguese cuisine in the spotlight every year, will be held in the town of Valenton, in the Salle Vasco da Gama .
This year, Portuguese Gastronomic Week will highlight the flavors and specialties of Leiria, a city of 65,000 inhabitants located 140km north of Lisbon. A district capital renowned for its varied gastronomy, traditions and spas.
To mark the occasion, the town of Valenton invites gourmets and the curious to enjoy Portuguese-style lunches and dinners (from €49 per person). Portuguese chefs Alberto Vaz, Lisa Silva and Ana Rita Lopes will be on hand to showcase their traditional dishes, as well as a selection of their country's wines.
